Unaccompanied minors

Children 12 years of age or older traveling on direct Air France flights in metropolitan France may travel unaccompanied by our medical service. On all other Air France flights, your child must be accompanied by an adult. Any child under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Infants

Children under 2 years of age (24 months) may travel on an adult's lap. However, it is possible to reserve a Air France seat for your infant (pay the infant fare) and place the infant in a car seat that complies with official regulations. Only one infant per adult is allowed per lap. If one adult is traveling with more than one infant under the age of 2 years, a separate seat will need to be purchased for each additional infant. A child under 2 years of age (24 months) will normally be charged 10% of the adult fare plus taxes

Pets

Dogs and cats are allowed on Air France flights if the total weight of the pet and its carrier does not exceed 17 pounds (8 kg). Each passenger may travel with 1 pet in the Air France cabin. Pets weighing between 8 and 75 kg (13 lbs) may be transported in the baggage compartment. Pets and carriers weighing more than (75 kg) must be transported by cargo.
