Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 48 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Each checked bag must not be heavier than 32 kg or lighter than 2 kg. The total amount of checked bags cannot weigh more than 74 kg. Each bag must not exceed 250 x 79 x 112 cm (L x H x W) with max. circumference 300 cm. It is allowed to carry two handheld treasures. 1 underseat bag (30 x 20 x 38 cm) + 1 overhead cabin bag (55 x 40 x 23 cm) with a combined weight limit of 10 kg

Unaccompanied minors

Children between the ages of 5 and 11 must travel as unaccompanied minors if they travel alone or without an adult (age 16 and older). Children aged 12 to 15 years who travel unaccompanied are not required to use the unaccompanied minors service. However, the service is available upon request of parents/guardians.

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly without a seat on the plane, on the lap of an accompanying adult. On domestic flights, lap-sitting infants travel free of charge; on international flights, 10% of the adult fare plus airport taxes. If desired, you can buy a seat on the plane for an infant at the child fare (75% of the adult fare).

Pets

Norwegian allows small cats and dogs on domestic flights in Norway (excluding Spitsbergen), Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Spain. The maximum weight of a pet, including the carrier, is 8 kg. Maximum dimensions of the carrier: 43 x 31 x 20 cm. Pets must be at least eight weeks old. Up to three pets of the same size and species (usually puppies, kittens, or toy dogs) can be carried in one carrier.
