Lion Air Registration options: automatic check-in, web check-in, mobile check-in, kiosk (totem) check-in. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and closes 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure. Boarding closes at the following times: 15 minutes before scheduled departure time for US domestic; 30 minutes before scheduled departure time for most international Lion Air flights to/from the US. Baggage

Each Lion Air passenger (except infants) is allowed one carry-on bag with a maximum weight of 7 kg and one personal item such as laptop bags/children's equipment/reading material/camera/camera bags (carry-on bags). The maximum size of a carry-on bag is 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm. Two pieces of luggage are allowed: both pieces' total dimensions (length + width + height) must not exceed 273 cm. The weight of each bag may not exceed 23 kg.

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly without a seat on the plane, on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish, you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. Children over two years of age must have their seat on the plane. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap. Lion Air requires that passengers carrying infants seven days of age and younger must provide a health certificate confirming that the infant can travel. This certificate must be issued within 72 hours before the time of departure.
