Check in rules

Registration can be done online (via the Tunisair website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before Tunisair departure and ends three hours before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before Tunisair departure.

Baggage

Tunisair provides passengers with a hand luggage allowance depending on their ticket class. The sum of the length, width, and height of each item must not exceed 115 cm, including pockets and wheels. Tunisair Cabin baggage allowance for Espace fare: 2 pieces weighing not more than 10 kg; for Economy class: 1 piece weighing not more than 8 kg. Each piece of checked baggage may not be heavier than 32kg to be carried as check-in baggage. Each bag's length, width, and height may not exceed 158 cm.

Unaccompanied minors

Unaccompanied children between 5 and 12 years of age may be booked by prior arrangement with Tunisair, preferably at the time of booking the ticket and no later than 48 hours before the date of travel.

Infants

At Tunisair Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or an autonomous adult at least 18 years of age. However, the accompanying person may be younger than 18 years of age if it is the father or mother. Only one infant is allowed per adult.

Pets

Pets may be transported in the Tunisair cabin or in checked baggage. Tunisair only allows dogs, cats, and birds on board its flights. Small pets may be transported in the cabin provided that their weight does not exceed 8 kg, including the container. Pets may be transported in checked baggage if they do not weigh more than 32 kg, including the container. The kennel size must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm.
