Discover Airlines was formerly known as Eurowings Discover and is a fully owned subsidiary of Lufthansa. It is headquartered in Frankfurt and operates hubs at both Munich and Frankfurt airports. The airline focuses on the leisure market with destinations around the Mediterranean, North America, The Caribbean and Africa. For short to medium haul destinations, the airline uses Airbus A320 aircraft while long haul routes are served with Airbus A330 aircraft. Discover Airlines offers three classes of service with dedicated seats and cabins on its wide-body aircraft. On the A320, two classes of service are offered, with the forward rows reserved for business class passengers featuring a blocked middle seat.

Discover Airlines Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends 40 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 40 minutes before departure.

One hand baggage and one personal item can be carried in the cabin. The dimensions of your hand baggage may not exceed 55 x 40 x 23 cm, and the maximum weight limit is 8 kg. Personal items may not be larger than 40 x 30 x 25 cm. The weight of checked baggage must not exceed 32 kg at Discover Airlines.

Children 12 years of age and older may fly on Discover Airlines alone. Children under 12 years of age may fly only when accompanied by a responsible adult. Children between the ages of five and eleven may also travel when accompanied by a sibling aged sixteen years or older.

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly on Discover Airlines on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish, you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap.

On some Discover Airlines flights, only a limited number of pets are allowed in the cabin. Eurowings Discover allows small dogs and cats in the cabin if the total weight with carrier does not exceed 18 kg. Each passenger is allowed to travel with one carrier, and only one pet is allowed in the carrier. For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 40 cm x 40 cm x 25.5 cm.
