Unaccompanied minors

Finnair requires the UM service for children aged 5–11 traveling alone. The service must be booked through Finnair customer service or a travel agency and is available on eligible same-day connecting Finnair flights. Children aged 5–11 may travel without UM service when accompanied by an eligible older family member or adult.

Infants

You can travel with an infant on all Finnair flights if the baby is two days old. A child ticket costs 10% of an adult Finnair ticket. An infant does not have its seat on board. If you want to buy a seat for your infant (child under two years of age), the price of the ticket, in this case, corresponds to a child ticket with a child discount.
