The airline recommends that you check in for your flight an hour or more before your scheduled or announced departure time. For flights departing from: Boston, Portland, Billings, Chicago/O'Hare, New York/Jondo Kennedy, Nashville, St. Croix, St. Louis, St. Thomas, San Juan, Nevis, and Tortola : 45 minutes before scheduled or specified departure time. For flights departing from all other Cape Air cities: check-in 30 minutes before the scheduled or announced departure time.

Standard allowance: one checked bag not to exceed 50 lbs or 62 linear inches plus 1 gate checked bag not to exceed 45 linear inches plus one personal item (e.g. small purse, briefcase, laptop) not to exceed 36 linear inches. For travel in the Tecnam Traveller, Personal Items which do not exceed 12” x 6” x 8” in size may be carried on board and stowed under the seat in front of the Customer.

Unaccompanied minors

Minors aged five through eleven years will be accepted for online travel for non-stop itineraries as unaccompanied minors on Cape Air marketed flights. In addition, parents or guardians may request a person twelve years of age or older to be escorted as if he or she was an unaccompanied minor for travel on online, non-stop itineraries on Cape Air marketed flights.

Children under the age of 2 can sit on the lap and/or child seats can be used. If a parent wishes to purchase an extra seat for a child, an FAA/DOT approved child seat must be brought along.

Multiple live animals from the same family are allowed on the same plane, but there may not be enough room on each flight. For pets traveling in a Cessna 402 aircraft, the size of the carrier must not exceed 71 cm x 52 cm x 52 cm (28 in. x 20.5 in. x 20.5 in.) 30 inches (101 cm x 68 cm x 76 cm).
