Taipei-Taoyuan is the main hub for China Airlines. The company is also based in Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Taipei-Songshan. China Airlines operates more than 1,400 weekly flights (including more than 90 cargo services) to 102 destinations. The main routes are Asia, North America, Europe, and Oceania.

Check-in can be done at the airport and online. Airport check-in is usually available 2 - 3 hours before scheduled flight departure. Passengers can check in online between 48 and 60 minutes before their scheduled departure time. Flights to the United States (including Guam) are subject to local government regulations, and the check-in time is between 24 and 60 minutes before departure.

Each passenger is allowed one bag and one personal item, such as a laptop bag, handbag, or briefcase. Accessories and outerwear are not considered personal items. Maximum dimensions for hand baggage: 22 x 14 x 9 inches/56 x 36 x 23 cm (length + width + height). Maximum weight of carry-on baggage: 15 lbs/7 kg. Checked baggage allowance: 2 pieces. Unaccompanied minors

China Airlines provides services for unaccompanied minors. These services are available to young passengers between the ages of 5 and 12 who are traveling without a parent or guardian and are at least 18 years old. Reservations for unaccompanied minors must be made at least 72 hours prior to departure. Unaccompanied minors are not permitted to travel in business class.

Infants

Infants are considered passengers under two years, calculated based on their boarding date. China Airlines does not allow mothers and babies to travel on flights within 14 days of giving birth. However, babies over 14 days old accompanied by an adult may travel on China Airlines flights. If an infant does not occupy a separate seat and travels on an adult's lap (child on the lap), a child fare applies to the infant. Tickets for infants occupying a separate seat cannot be issued online but only through China Airlines customer service. Infants are passengers between 2 years old (including two years old) and 12 years old (excluding 12 years old).

Pets

China Airlines does not allow the carriage of dogs, cats, and other animals in the cabin unless they are medically certified service animals. Airlines allow travel with their owners as checked baggage in the cargo hold. Before traveling with pets, travelers must contact the reservations department to confirm transportation conditions at least 12 hours before the time of flight departure. The pet container must be made of rigid plastic following IATA regulations. The maximum outer height of the pet container is 70 cm, and the width is 90 cm.
