Baggage

Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag as long as it adheres to the following requirements: maximum dimensions of Carry-on Luggage - 112 cm (56 cm X 36 cm X 20 cm), maximum weight of Carry-on Luggage - 10 kg. Checked Baggage Allowance: economy class - 2 pieces, 50 lb/23 kg per piece; business class - 2 pieces, 70 lb/32 kg per piece; maximum dimensions 158 cm (length + width + height).

Unaccompanied minors

Unaccompanied Minor - a child between the ages of 5 and 14 years, inclusive, traveling unaccompanied. Pre-booking of the service must be made at least 24 hours before departure. Unaccompanied minors pay the full adult fare (promotional/promotional fares are not allowed) for the trip and an additional handling fee, except on domestic flights only (NBO, MBA, KIS, LAU, MYD, EDL).

Infants

Children up to 2 years old (24 months) are not required to have their own seat. Lap children can only be held by passengers who are at least 15 years of age. Only one lap child is allowed per adult. If one adult is traveling with more than one infant under the age of 2, a separate seat will need to be purchased for each additional infant.

Kenya Airways does not allow a dog, cat or other animal to travel in the cabin or as checked baggage. Pets may only travel in the cargo compartment.
