As a Tarom passenger, you are entitled to carry in the cabin one piece of hand baggage with dimensions not exceeding 55x40x20cm (length x width x depth) if you are traveling on Boeing and Airbus aircraft types. If you travel on an ATR 42 / ATR 72 aircraft, your cabin baggage may not exceed the following dimensions: 35 x 30 x 20 cm (length x width x height). The total weight of hand luggage may not exceed 10 kg. Pieces of luggage exceeding 32 kg and/or 158 cm require authorization from Tarom.

The maximum total weight of an animal with a carrier is 5 kg on Tarom flights. For pets in the cabin, the carrier's dimensions must not exceed 42 cm x 26 cm x 20 cm. Cats and dogs weighing more than the maximum for cabin transportation on Tarom flights may instead be carried in the baggage compartment. The maximum weight of pets and carriers in the luggage compartment is 75 kg.
