Mexicana de Aviación (XN) seat map listing

Aerolínea del Estado Mexicano is a newly established Mexican airline that started operations in December 2023. It is fully state owned and run by SEDENA which manages the Mexican armed forces. The state bought the original name and branding from the defunct Mexicana de Aviacion and is applying it to the new airline. The new Mexicana has its main hub at Mexico City's new Felipe Angeles International Airport. The airline intends to mainly operate Boeing B737-800 aircraft. The airline is sourcing some aircraft from the Mexican air force until it receives its own examples. For regional routes, the airline is leasing 50 seat Embraer E145 aircraft.

The founders of seatmaps.com have created and assembled an exhaustive database of seatmaps of all the aircrafts that Mexicana de Aviación operates. Click on the links below to see our entire array of seatmaps.

Unaccompanied minors

Unaccompanied minors, those under 18 traveling alone without an adult, require custody arrangements with the airline. For minors aged 5 to 14 years, custody service is mandatory and only available on direct A.E.M. flights. For minors aged 14 years and 1 month to 18 years, the service is optional on direct AEM flights, requiring a "Limited Liability Exemption for Minors Traveling with Third Parties or Unaccompanied" form. Availability is limited, so arrive 3 hours early for documentation. The minor's parent or guardian must stay at the departure airport until informed of the flight's departure, recommended to wait at least 15 minutes post-takeoff. The person handing over and receiving the minor must have valid ID (INE or passport).
