A self-service check-in kiosk at the airport starts 23 hours before scheduled departure, up to 90 minutes for short-haul flights and 120 minutes for long-haul flights. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Edelweiss Air allows two pieces of hand baggage in business class and one piece of hand baggage in economy class, as well as one personal item (bag, briefcase, laptop bag) per passenger free of charge. However, cabin/hand baggage may not exceed the following size and weight limits: 118 cm (55 x 40 x 23 cm), including handles and wheels; the weight limit is 8 kg. Checked-in baggage allowance in business class: 2 standard bags per person; maximum dimensions of each bag: 158 centimeters (length + width + height); maximum weight of each bag: 32 kilograms. Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly without a seat on the plane. If you wish, you can buy a seat on the plane for an infant at the infant fare. Cribs are available in all classes on long-haul flights and only in business class on European flights. They are allowed for children up to and including eight months of age, with a maximum weight of 11 kg and a maximum height of 70 centimeters.

Pets

Dogs and cats may be transported in the cabin of Edelweiss Air if the total weight of the animal and the carrier does not exceed 8 kg. One passenger is allowed to carry two pets. For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers may not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm. Pets whose weight exceeds the maximum permissible weight for carriage in the cabin may be carried in the cargo compartment instead.
