Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open two hours before departure and close 40 minutes before departure.

Each passenger, who booked a ticket at the fare, which includes only hand luggage, is allowed to transport in the cabin: 1 piece of hand luggage weighing up to 10 kg and measuring 55x40x23 cm, plus one personal/notebook bag. Checked-in baggage will be charged separately. Purchase a seat up to 23 kg.

Children over the age of five can travel alone. The airline provides an escort service for minors. For children from 5 to 11 years old, a staff member is provided to meet the accompanying person at the departure airport and a person to hand over to the meeting person at the arrival airport. For a child, the full price of the ticket (without children's discount) plus UM fee is payable

On Bulgaria Air flights, passengers from 8 days to 2 years old do not use a separate seat and travel with an accompanying parent, using a special seat belt. For safety reasons, there is a limit of one infant per adult and one infant per row of three seats.

Bulgaria Air does not transport live animals to/from Great Britain. However, Bulgaria Air welcomes cats and dogs to travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier is under 8 kg. For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers can have maximum dimensions of 48 cm x 35 cm x 22 cm. For pets traveling in the hold, carriers can have maximum dimensions of 80 cm x 74 cm x 64 cm. Dogs and cats who exceed the maximum weight for cabin travel can be transported in the hold instead. Pets must weigh less than 32 kg to qualify for travel in the hold.
