Arajet is a new low cost carrier from the Dominican Republic. It was formerly known as Dominican Wings but re-launched operations as Arajet in 2022. Its main base is located at Santo Domingo's Las Americas International Airport. Arajet plans to serve many destinations in the Caribbean, the USA, Central and South America. The airline operates a modern fleet of Boeing B737-8 Max aircraft.

Check in rules
Airline offer two options for check-in; the first one is online check-in which is available 48 hours prior to departure time, or check-in at the airport which is open from 3 hours before departure time. Check-in always closes 1 hour before departure time.

In addition to a free small personal item, airline allows bringing a checked bag of 20kg affordable. This is also included in Comfort bundle. You can also purchase additional bags or carry-on bag. Bags and other services are always cheaper when you purchase them during your online booking. Carry-on baggage (large backpack, or small suitcase) may be no larger than 56 x 46 x 25cm / 22”x18”x10” and weigh no more than 12kg. Checked bags (suitcases or boxes) may be no larger than 158cm/62” when adding up all three dimensions.

Infants less than 8 days old will not be accepted for travel. Infants travelling on the lap of an Adult will be charged 5% of the Fare (plus any Taxes and Charges). For safety reasons there is a limit of two Infants per Adult, one of which must occupy their own seat. When travelling with an Infant you can take one additional Personal Item onboard. This must weigh no more than 6kg and be no larger than 40x25x20cm.

You may travel with one cat or dog in the cabin (no other animals will be accepted). Pets must travel in a soft-sided carrier, no larger than 15”x9”x7” / 40x25x20cm. The combined weight of the carrier and pet must be less than 10kg.
