Online check-in SCAT Airlines opens 24 hours and closes 1 hour before departure for domestic destinations and 2 hours before departure for international destinations. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

SCAT Airlines has increased their baggage allowance for adults and children from 25 kg to 30kg plus 5 kg (hand baggage) for all travellers to and from Istanbul. For adults and minors with tickets the weight of free luggage per individual is 20 kg including 5 kg of carry-on.

Children over the age of six may travel alone in SCAT Airlines. Unaccompanied child from 6 to 14 years old inclusive is carried with 50% discount from adult fare. An unaccompanied child aged 15 years and over will be charged the full adult rate.

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Passengers planning to fly with two-year-old children should inform the cashier that the child is traveling with you and ask the cashier for a ticket when purchasing the ticket. Although a ticket is free for children of this age, it is required.

Animals can travel as checked baggage on some flights with SCAT Airlines. Only one pet is permitted to travel in each carrier. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must be strong and clean. It is illegal to transport pets in the UAE.
