Check in rules

Passenger must appear at Carrier's counters at the airport of origin at least two (2) hours in advance on domestic flights, in order for the Carrier to issue a Boarding Pass and, where appropriate, document your baggage. Passenger must present his/her Ticket or Confirmation Code, as well as an official ID with photograph to Carrier's personnel, without which baggage cannot be documented nor the corresponding Boarding Pass issued.

The passenger may transport without any extra charge, 1 piece of hand luggage that does not exceed 45.5 x 33.5 x 33.5 measurements and 1 personal item that does not exceed 45.5 x 20.5 x 33.5 measurements inside the cabin. Together they must not exceed in 10 kg in weight and the established linear dimensions of : 45.5cm x 54cm x 33.5. The passenger will have the right to check-in 1 piece of luggage weighing up to 25 kg and this must not exceed 158 linear cm

Unaccompanied minors

TAR Airlines offers the unaccompanied minors transfer service for a fee. It applies to minors from 5 to 13 years 11 months of age and is mandatory. For minors between 14 and 17 years and 11 months old, the custody service is optional.

Infants

TAR Airlines considers as an infant, all the children under 2 years and over 7 days old, which have to fly with adult suppervision and have already paid its reservation flight. Because this kind of passengers doesn’t count with an acquired rate nor seat or luggage assigned, during the flight the infants should travel at the legs of the responsible adult. If an adult travels with an infant, they must notify at the time of reservation flight purchase or previous its trip at our call center (442) 213 0000, otherwise could be relocated in other date or flight available to flight with the infant.

Pets

TAR Aerolineas allows for pets transport inside the cabin (PETC). The pets will need to meet certain criteria and be kept in a special container or bag during the whole flight. Larger pets may also be transported in the cargo hold. Please check the link for more details.
