Eurowings Discover (4Y) seat maps

Eurowings Discover is the air carrier led by the Lufthansa Group, with its base in Germany. The EW Discover started its functionality only 10 months ago and is one of the youngest air companies. Nevertheless, it remains the main opponent for German Condor, as they also cover some of the destinations that Eurowings do. The airline flies mostly to long-distance destinations in 25 countries. The company s fleet encompasses 16 planes totally, which all were transferred from other companies. Currently, the company offers Miles & More flyer program, which is very comfy and helpful, as its users can earn by flying with the company s partners.

Check in rules

Eurowings Discover Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends 40 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 40 minutes before departure.

Baggage

One hand baggage and one personal item can be carried in the cabin. The dimensions of your hand baggage may not exceed 55 x 40 x 23 cm, and the maximum weight limit is 8 kg. Personal items may not be larger than 40 x 30 x 25 cm. The weight of Eurowings Discover checked baggage must not exceed 32 kg.

Unaccompanied minors

Children 12 years of age and older may fly Eurowings Discover alone. Children under 12 years of age may fly only when accompanied by a responsible adult. Children between the ages of five and eleven may also travel when accompanied by a sibling aged sixteen years or older.

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly Eurowings Discover on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish, you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap.

Pets

On some Eurowings flights, only a limited number of pets are allowed in the cabin. Eurowings Discover allows small dogs and cats in the cabin if the total weight with carrier does not exceed 18 kg. Each passenger is allowed to travel with one carrier, and only one pet is allowed in the carrier. For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 40 cm x 40 cm x 25.5 cm.
