Vistara Registration can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 48 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Registration desks open 2.5 hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Vistara Hand Baggage Allowance (in kg 1 piece only): 7kg (Economy Class), 10kg (Premium Economy), 12kg (Business Class). Dimensions: 55cm (22 inches) x 40cm (16 inches) x 20cm (8 inches). Vistara’s standard checked baggage / hold luggage policy details follow: business – 30 kg total for all bags; premium economy – 20 kg total for all bags; economy – 15 kg total for all bags.

Children over the age of five can travel alone. A minors' escort service is compulsory for children 5-12 years old. For children over 12 years old, the minors' escort Vistara service is not compulsory and can be booked on the request of parents.

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. If your infant is younger than 7 days, you require medical authorization from Vistara Customer Service Centre. Infants between 7 days and two years on the travel date may travel on the parent's lap for free. If you prefer, you can buy a seat on the airplane for an infant at the child's fare. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other can be held on the lap.

Pets are not permitted to fly with Vistara when flying inside India. When flying outside India guide dogs and seeing eye dogs are allowed on board subject to availability of relevant certification.
