Animals weighing under 149 lbs (67 kg) can be checked as baggage. Any animal weighing over 149 lbs (67 kg) or that does not fit in a 500-size kennel; spiders; large birds; chickens; wild animals; farm animals; pigs (pot bellies excluded); and amphibians can be shipped as cargo with the Ravn Alaska Cargo Department.
