Check in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Baggage

The maximum permitted weight of your hand baggage/hand baggage is 5 kg. Your hand baggage/hand baggage must have the following dimensions: 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm. Checked-in baggage allowance depends on the fare selected: Normal Y Fare up to 25 kg; Apex A Fare, Bravo B Fare up to 20 kg; Delta D Fare, Charlie C Fare, Echo E Fare up to 15 kg.

Unaccompanied minors

Unaccompanied Minor service is mandatory for a child age 5-12 traveling without an adult. Children over the age of 12 are not required to travel as an unaccompanied minor . However, the service can be ordered.

Infants

Infants are classified as over seven days old and under two years old. Infants under seven days of age are not allowed on domestic or international routes. The infant fare applies to the passenger(s) between seven days of birth and two years of age. Only 10% of the regular fare is charged for an infant.

Pets

Small pets may travel in the cabin in Kathmandu as long as they do not weigh more than 9 kg. Two pets are allowed on each flight. Pets traveling on all routes outside Kathmandu may be transported via Buddha Air Cargo.
