Registration options: automatic check-in, web check-in, mobile check-in, kiosk (totem) check-in. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and closes 60 minutes before departure. Check-in counters open 2.5 hours (for international flights) and two hours (for domestic flights) before departure and close 45 minutes (for international flights) and 30 minutes (for domestic flights) before departure.

The hand baggage allowance is limited to one piece weighing a maximum of 8 kg and with maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 23 cm. For safety reasons and due to the limited space available, only one item of hand baggage per passenger is allowed. A maximum of 40 kilograms of checked baggage is permitted to be carried per person.

For children aged between 5 and 12 years and traveling alone, SunExpress offers the Unaccompanied Minor Service that must be requested by email to the SunExpress Travel Center at least 48 hours before an international flight and 2 hours before a domestic flight (within Turkey).

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly without a seat on the plane, or on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish, you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. Children over two years of age must have their own seat on the plane. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap.

Sun Express welcomes one cat or dog into the cabin per passenger. Pets and carriers must have a combined weight under 8 kg. Dogs and cats who exceed the maximum weight limit to travel in the cabin can be transported in the hold instead. For pets traveling in the cabin, the size of the lockable carrier must not exceed the dimensions for hand baggage of 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm. For pets traveling in the hold, carriers must not exceed the height of 33" (85 cm).
