AirExplore was founded in 2008 as SlovExplore and started its activity in 2010 as AirExplore. The company is headquartered in Bratislava, Slovakia. Bratislava Airport is AirExplore's main hub. The airline is certified by IOSA and is a member of AIR-E. In addition, the AirExplore operates seasonal charter flights between Košice and Zadar, Bratislava and Stockholm. The company's fleet consists of six aircrafts - Boeing 737-800.

Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online registration begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Only properly closed and locked suitcases or other solid sealable baggage are accepted as checked baggage for carriage. Weight of one piece of baggage must not exceed 32 kg. Cabin baggage may have a maximum length of 55 cm, width 40 cm, depth 20 cm and the weight may not exceed 5 kg.

Unaccompanied minors

Children over the age of six can travel alone. A minors' escort service is compulsory for children 6-12 years old. For children over 12 years old, the minors' escort service is not compulsory and can be booked on the request of parents.

Infants

Transportation of newborns younger than 14 days is excluded on the carrier’s flights. Children under 2 years are denoted as infants and the condition for transport is an accompanying person. Infants are not entitled to a separate seat in the aircraft, the infant travels on the adult’s lap, who accompanies the infant. In case full fare is paid for the infant as per an adult. A passenger may carry only one infant unless it has the appropriate child seat.

Pets

Live animals can be carried in the passenger cabin, or in the cargo compartment, as cargo and/or mail. Small animals, such as dogs and cats older than three months, may be carried in the passenger cabin, if placed in transport boxes with maximum dimensions of 50x40x20 cm and with a maximum weight of 8kg. No more than four small animals can be carried in the passenger cabin on one flight. Guide dogs accompanying sight impaired passengers and dog used to save lives can be carried in the aircraft cabin free of charge.
