Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online registration begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open two hours before departure and close 30 minutes before departure.

Each Passenger occupying a separate seat is entitled to 16 kg of luggage free of charge. Infants are not entitled to any baggage allowance. However, strollers and car seats will be lifted free of charge. Each piece of checked baggage may not weigh more than 32 kg, and the total linear dimension (length plus width) may not exceed 158 cm. A maximum of 7 kg of hand baggage per person is allowed.

The airline provide an escort service for minors. Children between the ages of 12 and 15 may travel alone unless unaccompanied transportation is required.

Children under two years of age are considered infants. Children younger than seven days old are not allowed on the flight. Infants do not need a separate seat. They may travel on the lap of an accompanying adult. For example, one adult may travel with two infants. In this case you need to buy one seat for one infant, and the other can be on the adult's lap.

Pets are not permitted to travel in the cabin on any PNG Air flights. PNG Air allows pets to travel as checked baggage on some of their flights. Depending on the airport you are traveling from, Fido will be able to travel as checked baggage or cargo.
