It is a regional airline based in Queensland, operating regular public transport (RPT), charter, and ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) services. In 2025, Skytrans rebranded to SmartLynx Australia as part of its integration into the global ACMI network under Avia Solutions Group. However, after the demise of the SmartLynx brand, the company reverted back to its original name.
