Lucky Air's main hub is Kunming Changshui International Airport, with Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport as a secondary hub. The airline is one of the four founding members of the U-FLY Alliance. In addition, lucky Air has a Frequent-flyer program called Fortune Wings Club. Check-in can be done online (via the Lucky Air website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before Lucky Air departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks are open three hours before departure. Boarding closes at the following times: 15 minutes before scheduled departure time for US domestic Lucky Air flights; 30 minutes before scheduled departure time for most international Lucky Air flights to/from the US. Some non-US airports close boarding 60 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Baggage

Each Lucky Air passenger may take on board one piece of hand baggage weighing no more than 7 kg per person. The dimensions of hand baggage may not exceed 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm. The weight of checked baggage may not exceed 23 kg, maximum size of 157 cm (sum of all dimensions).

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly without a seat on the plane, on the lap of an accompanying adult. The cost of the ticket is 10% of the adult fare. If desired, you can buy a seat on the plane for an infant at the child fare (75% of the adult fare). Children over two years of age must have their own seat on the plane. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap.
