For domestic flights within Indonesia, Check-in begins two hours before departure, and desks close 30 minutes before departure for all classes of passengers. For international flights, reporting time Check-in begins two hours before departure, and the check-in counter closes 45 minutes before departure for all categories of passengers.

The maximum weight of hand luggage is seven kilograms; the maximum dimensions are 40 x 30 x 20. In the cabin you can carry one hand baggage and one personal item. Free baggage allowance: economy class - up to 20 kg, business class - up to 30 kg. Infants without a seat are not entitled to free checked baggage

Unaccompanied minors

Children over the age of 5 are allowed to travel alone. However, for children 5-12 years old, a companion service must be ordered. This service is optional for children 13-16 years old but can be ordered at the discretion of parents/guardians. Batik Air ground staff will take care of the children from check-in until boarding, which will be handed over to the flight attendants. Upon arrival, the child will be escorted by Batik Air staff through immigration and baggage claim procedures and handed over to a designated guardian.

Infants

The airline does not allow infants under two days of age to be transported. Infants aged three to seven days require a medical certificate confirming that the infant can travel by air. The medical certificate must be presented 72 hours before the standard departure time. The maximum age for infants is less than two years.
