Wizz Air UK (W9) seat map listing

Wizz Air founded its UK subsidiary in 2017 and started operations a year later. The airline operates under the same ultra low cost model. Bases were set-up in Gatwick and Luton and today over 50 destinations are served. As of early 2024, the Wizz Air UK fleet consisted of Airbus A321neo aircraft with a seating for 239 passengers.

Check in rules

Registration can be done online (via the Wizz Air UK website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends two hours before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Wizz Air UK Passengers are allowed to take on board hand luggage with a maximum size of 55 x 40 x 23 cm, and weighing up to 10 kg. Checked-in baggage allowance: 10 kg, 20 kg, 32 kg. Allowed/Not permitted 149 x 119 x 171 cm.

Unaccompanied minors

Children over the age of 12 can travel alone. The airline does not provide an escort service for minors.

Infants

A child between 14 days old and two years old is considered an infant and may travel on a parent's lap. Each adult passenger (over 18 years of age) may only carry one infant on their lap, subject to applicable fees. However, if there is a second infant, an additional seat at full price must be purchased.
