Unaccompanied minors

Upon request, Porter Airlines offers an unaccompanied minors service when children under the age of 12 travel unaccompanied. Between the ages of 8 and 11 years inclusive, a child traveling unaccompanied by a parent or guardian must travel as an unaccompanied minor. From the age of 12 up to and including 17 years old, children may travel unaccompanied as adults, but it is also possible for parents to register them as unaccompanied minors.

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants older than seven days old are allowed to fly. Infants may fly without an airplane seat on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish, you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. Children over two years of age must have their own seats on the plane. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap.

The Porter allows up to 2 pets to be carried in the cabin on any flight. Small cats and dogs may travel in the cabin as long as the pet's total weight and the carrier do not exceed 9 kg. Each passenger is allowed to take on board one pet and one carrier.Carriers may not exceed 133cm x 43cm x 16cm.
