Virgin Atlantic free Carry-On Allowance: one personal item; one standard carry-on bag (Economy Light, Economy Classic, & Premium Economy); two standard carry-on bags (Upper Class). Size restrictions: 23 x 36 x 56 cm; 10 kg - economy, 12 kg - individual, and 16 kg combined for upper class. All checked bags must adhere to a max weight of 23 kg for Economy and Premium Economy fares, and 32 kg for Upper-Class fares; must adhere to max linear dimensions of 90 x 75 x 43 cm.

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants must be at least 48 hours old at the time of the Virgin Atlantic flight. Infants may fly without a seat on the aircraft. If you wish, you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant and the other may be held on the lap.

Virgin Atlantic does not allow animals in the main cabin unless they are assistance animals. Pet travel is handled through cargo department.
