Check in rules

Registration can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 36 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in counters open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure. You can check in for your flight at a self-service check-in kiosk at the airport 60 minutes to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Baggage

The airline allows one hand baggage and one personal item per economy class passenger and two handbags and one personal item per business class passenger. A hand baggage item, including handles and wheels, may not be larger than 115 centimeters (55 x 40 x 20 cm). A personal item may not exceed 80 centimeters (40 x 30 x 10 cm). Passengers are allowed two bags of 32 kg each in business class and one bag of 23 kg in economy class.

Unaccompanied minors

The unaccompanied minor service is mandatory for a child aged 5-12 traveling without an adult. Children ages 12-17 are not required to travel as unaccompanied minors. However, the service can be ordered if desired.

Infants

Children under two years of age are considered infants. Infants younger than seven days old are not allowed on the flight. Infants aged seven days to 2 years must travel on their ticket. No fare is charged for domestic flights and 10% of the adult fare on international flights if they are traveling on the lap of an accompanying adult. A separate seat can be purchased for an infant. The cost will be 50% of the adult fare.

Pets

On Croatia Airlines flights, small cats and dogs are welcome to join their owners. Animals and their carriers must not exceed 8 kg. Pets exceeding the cabin's weight limit can be transported in the hold instead. For pets being transported in the cabin, carriers must not exceed dimensions of 115 cm. For pets being transported in the hold, medium carriers should not exceed 80 cm x 55 cm x 55 cm and larger carriers should not exceed 125 cm x 75 cm x 85 cm.
