Check in was relatively quick

Old tired aircraft with a number of problems. Moved to front row of Premium as booked seats didn't have working entertainment system, which at first seemed promising but found that retractable screens wouldn't stay in place, the touch screen failed to respond and so had to use remote handset in arm which air hostess had to lever out with a knife. Food was OK if slightly overcooked.

Best business lounge at IAD was exceptional, great food and service

My meal was over cooked, hardly edible, crew service was about equal to flying on AA not what I expected from Virgin Atlantic
