Check in rules

Check-in for short-haul flights (domestic and European flights) open at least 2 hours before departure and closes 45 minutes before scheduled departure. For long-haul flights (Caribbean Islands and Mauritius), check-in opens 4 hours before departure and closes 60 minutes before scheduled departure.

Baggage

Carry-on baggage on Iberojet flights may not exceed 10 kg and have dimensions of 50×40×25 cm (including handles, pockets, and castors). Only one piece of carry-on baggage per passenger is permitted. The maximum weight of checked baggage is 23 kg. Baggage may not exceed 158 cm (height + width + length).

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Newborn babies are accepted on the flight if they have reached seven days of age. Infants may fly without a seat on the airplane. The infant must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult. If you wish you can buy a seat for an infant at the infant fare.

Pets

Iberojet authorises the carriage of pets in the cabin if the maximum dimensions of the carrier or cage are no greater than 50x40x25 cm (10x16x20 inches), and weigh no more than 10 kg (combined weight of the animal and carrier). Suppose the measurements of the carrier/cage or the weight of the animal exceed those indicated for carriage in the cabin. In that case, they may be transported in the hold, obeying the general requirements and restrictions of the carrier used.
