The airline has bases in Bergen, Bodø, Oslo, Sandefjord, Tromsø. Widerøe operates scheduled international passenger air services in the countries of Northern Europe. Wideroe Airlines airlines web check-in starts 48 hours before departure & closes 12 hours prior to the time of departure for economic classes. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure.

In the baggage compartment, the sum of your baggage's three dimensions (L+D+H) may not exceed 158 cm, including pockets, wheels, and handles, for a maximum total weight of 23 kg. In addition, the size of your hand luggage must be no more than 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm for a maximum total weight of 5 kg.

Children over the age of five can travel alone. A minors' accompaniment service is compulsory for children 5-11 years old. For children over the age of 12 years old, the minors' escort service is not mandatory and can be booked at the request of parents.

Children under two years of age are considered infants. Infants younger than seven days old are not allowed on the flight. Infants do not need a separate seat. If you wish, you can buy a seat on the plane for an infant at the infant fare. Children over two years of age must have their own seat on the aircraft. If one adult is traveling with two infants, one seat must be purchased for one infant, and the other may be held on the lap.

On each Widerøe flight, only one pet is allowed in the cabin and one pet in the luggage compartment. Small dogs and cats can travel in the cabin as long as the pet's total weight and the carrier do not exceed 8 kg. The size of the carrier for pets traveling in the cabin must not exceed 40cm x 25cm x 23cm. Animals that exceed the dimensions for carriage in the cabin may be accepted for carriage as checked baggage in the cargo compartment.
