Passengers of domestic flights can check in from 2 hours to 30 minutes before departure. For flights departing from Yangon International Airport, Singapore Changi Airport, and Suvarnabhumi Airport, passengers can check in up to 3 hours before departure and 45 minutes before departure. For flights departing from Hong Kong International Airport, Chiang Mai International Airport, and Phuket International Airport, check-in opens 2.5 hours before departure but no later than 45 minutes before departure. Online check-in is not available for international flights.

The airline allows its passengers to take one piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 7 kg and with luggage dimensions of 22in x 15in x 8in. Passengers are allowed 30 kg on domestic flights in business class, 25 kg in premium class, and 20 kg in economy class. Passengers are allowed 40 kg on international flights in business class, 35 kg in premium class, and 30 kg in economy class. Any baggage exceeding the checked baggage allowance will be charged per kg.

Children under two years of age are considered infants. Infants younger than seven days old are not allowed on the flight. Infants do not need a separate seat. They may travel on the lap of an accompanying adult. One adult may travel with two infants. In this case you need to buy one seat for one infant, and the other can be on the adult's lap.

Pets are not allowed to be transported in the cabin. However, pets may be carried as checked baggage in the cargo hold on Myanmar National Airlines flights. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must be IATA-approved.
