Infants younger than seven days old cannot travel by air. Newborn babies over one week old will be allowed to travel by air, provided they are healthy and born usually. An adult must accompany each infant. Infants will be charged the infant fare if they require a separate seat. Infants under seven months of age, weighing no more than 10 kg and no more than 26 inches tall, may travel in an in-flight carrycot.

During freezing weather, an acclimatization certificate may also be required for pets traveling in the cargo compartment.
