The service is mandatory for children ages 5-11 traveling without a passenger who is at least 12 years old. Italian minors departing from Italian airports minors aged between 5 and 13 years may only fly unescorted if they use the compulsory Air Dolomiti UMNR service.

Children under two years (24 months) are not required to have their own seat. The child must be at least seven days old and have permission from the family doctor. You must inform Air Dolomiti that you will be traveling with an infant on your lap. Lap children may only be held by passengers who are at least 18 years of age. Only one lap child is allowed per adult. If one adult travels with more than one infant under two years of age, a seat must be purchased for each additional infant.

A maximum of 3 pets in the cabin and two pets in the hold are permitted on flights with Air Dolomiti. Small pets can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 18 lbs ( 8 kg). For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm. Dogs and cats can travel as checked baggage with Air Dolomiti if they don't qualify for transport in the cabin. For pets being transported in carriers with dimensions of 60 cm x 45 cm x 40 cm.
