Serbia's state-owned airline Air Serbia began operations on October 26, 2013. The main hubs of Air Serbia are Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Niš Constantine the Great Airport. JAT Airways flies from Belgrade to Frankfurt am Main, Moscow, Munich, Berlin, London, Paris, Vienna, Zurich, and other European cities. Check in rules

Air Serbia Registration can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and closes 60 minutes before departure.

Baggage

Air Serbia cabin baggage allowance for economy class passengers: 1 bag; maximum weight - 8 kg; maximum dimensions - 40 x 20 x 55 cm Cabin baggage allowance for business class passengers : 2 bags; one bag maximum weight - 8 kg; maximum dimensions - 40x20x55 cm; second bag maximum weight - 4 kg; maximum dimensions - 35x20x50 cm. Economy class passengers are allowed to carry one bag weighing not more than 23kg. Passengers flying business class are allowed two bags weighing no more than 32kg.

Unaccompanied minors

Children aged 5 to 12 years travel within Europe and between Europe and the Middle East. Children aged 7 to 12 years travel between Europe, and the U.S. may travel unaccompanied only with an official chaperone. Children aged 12 to 16 years old are allowed on flights as unaccompanied minors at the request of their parents or guardians.

Infants

Children under two years of age are considered infants. Infants younger than seven days old are not allowed on the flight. Infants do not need a separate seat. They may travel on the lap of an accompanying adult. For example, one adult may travel with two infants. In this case you need to buy one seat for one infant, and the other can be on the adult's lap.

Pets

Dogs and cats are welcome to fly in the Air Serbia cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier is under 8 kg. If the combined weight is within the limit, two animals from the same litter can travel together. For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed 40 cm x 30 cm x 24 cm, and be well-ventilated, leak-proof, and escape-proof.
