Small animals are permitted to travel in the cabin with Air Madagascar if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 5 kg. For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must be a wicker basket or metal carrier. For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed the combined dimensions of 58 cm. Pets who exceed the weight limit to travel in the cabin can be transported as checked baggage if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 32 kg.
