Small airline TAG was established in 1969 as a private airline for both passengers and freight. Regular services are provided by the corporation to the following communities around Guatemala City. TAG operates two ATR 42 / 72 planes. The aircrafts were chosen for their fuel efficiency and seating capacity. ATR 72 are small aircraft. Passenger capacity is up to 78 people. There is often no business class in such planes, and the entire cabin is allocated for economy class. The ATR 72 has lighter passenger seats and larger luggage shelves. The planes are economical because of low fuel consumption. Also, the aircraft is easier and more economical to maintain.
