Malta Air is a subsidiary of Ryanair and its newest addition to the fleet increases the number of seats on board thanks to the additional pair of exit doors found on the 737-8200 MAX. The higher capacity cabin decreases the general seat pitch to only around 28” (71cm). Despite this, there are still a few seats that stand out: Seats 1B and 1C at the forward exit have ample legroom but are very close to the galley and lavatory. Immediately behind, seat 2A has excellent legroom as there is no seat in front. The bulkhead seats 2D, 2E and 2F offer plenty of knee space. However, just as with row 1, the small tray table is in the armrest and the seats are a bit narrower. Exit seats at rows 17, 18 and 28 have additional legroom while seats 29A and 29F offer near infinite legroom to stretch out. Keep in mind that all exit and bulkhead seats require hand luggage to be stored in the overhead bins for take-off and landing. Avoid these seats with missing or misaligned windows: 12A, 14A, 14F, 29A and 29F. All seats on Malta Air come in a pre-reclined state and do not recline any further. There are no power outlets nor WiFi on board.
