easyJet UK Airbus A320 aircraft seat map easyJet UK

Airline logo
EasyJet UK flies the Airbus A320 in a single class high density layout. The cabin is typical for a low cost airline. The pre-reclined seats offer basic comfort at a rather tight pitch. Taller passengers might want to reserve seats at one of the overwing exit rows or the first row up front. See our detailed maps below for further information.

The A320-200 features the densified version with 186 seats. This was achieved by adding another row at the back where the lavatories were originally located. The lavatories were moved to the galley area since easyJet’s operations do not require extensive galley facilities. That last row is best avoided, though, as it is narrower and lacks a window on either side. The aircraft are fitted with pre-reclined Recaro slimline seats offering improved knee space at the rather tight pitch of 28”-29” (71cm-74cm). Taller passengers are advised to select a seat at the emergency exit rows 12 and 13 but do note that the outer seats suffer from a cold draft coming from the exits. The first row is also an interesting option as it feels noticeably less cramped with much improved knee space. The closeness to the galley and lavatory is however a downside. We generally advise against choosing the row just ahead of the emergency exits as the seats might be slightly more upright in order to comply with regulations.

This second version of the A320 in easyJet’s fleet still features the older layout with 180 seats. The main difference is at the back, featuring two half rows 30 and 31.These are best avoided due to the proximity of the lavatories and galley. Additionally, seats in row 31 are narrower and have no window. The seats are pre-reclined and at a rather tight pitch of 28”-29” (71cm-74cm). More space can be found at the exit rows 12 and 13. Beware the outer seats at these rows will feel colder due to the exit doors. Row 1 offers greatly improved knee space but legs might not be able to fully stretch out due to the bulkhead in front. Rows 11 and 12 might be less pre-reclined in order not to obstruct the exits behind them.
