Boarding early

Premium economy is definitely not worthwhile when compared to others. The calf and leg support attached to the seat is not comfortable. The 2-4-2 layout makes exiting a task for passengers in the middle. Serving economy food in a dish does not create a premium meal. The flight attendants also service economy so don't expect a quick response and toilets are shared with economy. As for the mid flight snacks, don't expect more than instant noodles.

Friendly crew

Premium economy is far from premium. The 2-4-2 layout is cramped, with the seat design making it difficult to exit from the window seat when the one in front is.reclined. The food was economy food standard. No toilets for PE passengers

Frequent flights, Hong Kong a great hub to transfer with good lounges and food options.

Beware if you pay for seat selection, Cathay Pacific have a habit of changing aircraft and either splitting up your party or leaving you with an undesirable seat. Without any apology or refund. Be prepared to spend ages dealing with their unsympathetic customer service team. Mediocre offering for economy and premium economy. Only some of the food is edible and seats are difficult sit in. The airline has gone downhill since the pandemic.
