The “Big Front Seats” as Spirit calls their premium product occupy the first two rows of the cabin. They feature 6 inches of extra legroom and are considerably wider. They come pre-reclined as is the case with all seats on board Spirit Airlines. Although no power outlets are installed, Spirit does offer high speed internet over WiFi on all A320 aircraft.

Spirit Airlines A320-200 aircraft feature 29 rows of regular economy seating. These seats have a basic seat pitch of between 28” and 29” (71-74cm). They do not recline but they are already in a pre-reclined state. The best legroom can be found at the exit rows 12 and 13. The seats to be avoided are in the last row where the seats are narrower and are missing the window. The proximity to the lavatories and galley can also be annoying. All of the airline’s A320 are equipped with hi speed internet offered via WiFi onboard. There are no power outlets, though.

The A320-200neo has two premium rows of “Big Front Seats”. These are wider, have more legroom and better padding. They are also pre-reclined like all other seats onboard but the new version of the seat now has an additional inch of recline for more comfort. All A320neo aircraft in the fleet feature high speed internet offered via onboard WiFi. Unfortunately, there are no power outlets installed.

The A320-200neo at Spirit Airlines seats 174 passengers in a 3 by 3 layout. The seats are pre-reclined and have a pitch of between 28” and 29” (71-74cm). The new seats that the company has installed feature improved ergonomics and slightly wider middle seats. The rows 12 and 13 offer additional legroom but are only available to passengers able and willing to assist in the event of an emergency evacuation. The last row is missing a window on either side and is also narrower due to the fuselage curvature. The proximity to the lavatories and galley also add traffic to that area. The aircraft are equipped with internet over WiFi, however, no power outlets are installed.
