IndiGo has ordered a large number of A320neos, making it the biggest operator of the type worldwide. Newly delivered aircraft are configured with a high density layout featuring 186 Recaro BL3710 seats. These lighter and more ergonomic seats provide slightly more space per passenger. While these seats do not feature any power outlets, they do offer a modest recline functionality. Seats in the first row and those at the overwing emergency exits are designated XL seats with additional legroom. Passengers over 6ft (183cm) are advised to choose seats in these rows as the remainder are spaced at a tight pitch of 28-29" (71-74cm). Bear in mind that seats in rows 11 and 12 do not recline at all. The last row 31 is best avoided. The seats are narrower and there is no window. Also the proximity of the aft galley and lavatories cause a lot of traffic in the area.

These A320neo aircraft still feature the older original configuration with 180 seats and regular larger lavatories at the back. The seat pitch varies between 28 and 29 inches (71 - 74 cms) which is typical for a low cost airline. Seats in the first row as well as those at the emergency exit rows 12 and 13 offer additional legroom for taller passengers. These are designated as XL seats and sold at a premium. Keep in mind that rows 11 and 12 do not recline. Also the last row at the very back does not recline. This final row is also bothersome due to the proximity of the lavatories and galley, It is also slightly narrower. IndiGo's fleet does not offer any power outlets or inflight entertainment.
