Airline logo
Lufthansa is a major operator of the Airbus A320neo in Europe. The airline uses the aircraft in a flexible dual class layout. The ratio between Business and Economy class seats can be dynamically adapted according to demand. Business class passengers benefit from a blocked middle seat and are separated by a moveable curtain from the Economy class behind them. Passengers can expect USB charging ports at their seats and WiFi throughout the cabin.

Lufthansa's A320-200neo is equipped with 180 seats. The Business class section can be dynamically resized according to demand with a moveable curtain divider. We depict the variant of the newly delivered aircraft featuring seats from Geven. These have USB charging built-in but only offer reclining in the forward section of the aircraft. The older variant features Recaro seats that offer reclining throughout the cabin but lack USB charging outlets. The Business section has a seat pitch of 30” (76cm) and additional privacy since Lufthansa blocks the middle seats in each row. The first row offers additional knee space but is busier due to the galley and lavatory in front. The exit rows 11 and 12 offer greater seat pitch but beware that row 11 does not recline. A chilly draft can be expected next to the exit doors. The Economy section has a tighter seat pitch of 28-29” (71-74cm). The least desirable seats are located in the last row 32. This row features narrower seats and has no window. Also the proximity of the galley and aft lavatories make it a busier area of the cabin.
