First class
- Seats4Pitch79"Width35"Recline180°
Lufthansa is introducing its new flagship Allegris product on the A350-900 in 2024. The First Class cabin will feature three private suites with floor to ceiling walls and closing doors. The outer Suites 1A and 1K are single suites with extra wide seats that convert to spacious beds for sleeping. Passengers can expect individually controlled lighting, heating and cooling features as well as a 32” 4K entertainment screen. The middle seats 1D and 1E together form the Suite Plus which can be used for one or two passengers. It also features two extra wide seats that are separately controllable and can be converted into either a single or double bed for sleeping. A huge 43” 4K screen provides immersive entertainment. Allegris First Class passengers are provided with wireless noise cancelling headphones and all seats feature wireless charging for cell phones in addition to the usual AC and USB outlets.
Business
- Seats38Pitch79"Width21"Recline180°
Lufthansa’s new Allegris Business Class product is rolling out in 2024 and offers no less than 7 different seating options: “Suite” - Seats in rows 2 and 8 at the front of each Business Class section are especially large and feature privacy walls and sliding doors. They are also fitted with special amenities like a minibar and a personal wardrobe. “Extra Space” - Seats 3E, 5E, 9E and 11E have additional stowage and work spaces for the perfect office in the sky. “Privacy” - Seats 3A, 3K, 5A, 5K, 9A, 9K, 11A and 11K are window seats furthest from the aisle providing a more secluded atmosphere. “Extra Long Bed” - Seats 4D, 4G, 10D and 10G as the name suggests convert into extra long beds (2.2m or 86.5in) for a perfect sleeping experience. These also feature a flexible divider between seats. “Privacy with Baby” - Seats 7A and 7K at the back of the first cabin offer additional privacy and a baby bassinet to the side of the seat. They are also close to the lavatories with changing facilities. “Double” - Seats 6D and 6G in the forward section and seats 12D and 12G in the aft section are ideal for couples. The movable partition allows for a shared dining experience and the conversion into a double bed for sleeping. “Classic” - Seats 4C, 4H, 6C, 10C, 10H, 12C and 12H are classic Allegris Business Class seats situated closer to the aisle while retaining a partial window view. All Allegris Business Class seats can be individually cooled or heated and have 18” 4K entertainment screens. AC and USB outlets as well as wireless charging are standard amenities as are noise cancelling headphones.
Premium economy
- Seats24Pitch39"Width19.5"Recline7"
Lufthansa’s Allegris concept also updates the Premium Economy experience. The newly developed 24 seats feature more privacy and a 39” (99cm) seat pitch. The fixed shell back with a sliding recline mechanism avoids disturbing the passengers in the row behind. The seats also feature a foot rest as well as AC and USB charging. A 15.6” 4K monitor coupled with noise cancelling headphones provides an excellent experience for the inflight entertainment system. Seats in the first row of Premium Economy feel more spacious due to the added knee space. The last row is better avoided as it is not properly separated from the Economy class section and will therefore likely be louder. Unfortunately Premium economy passengers have no dedicated lavatories and will need to walk further back to the economy class units.
Economy
- Seats201Pitch31"Width18"Recline5"
As part of Lufthansa’s innovative Allegris cabin updates, the Economy class has also seen some improvements. Most notably, the entertainment system was upgraded to a 13.3” 4K screen with bluetooth connectivity so passengers can use their own wireless headphones. All seats are equipped with USB charging ports. Seats in row 19, 20 and 26 as well as seats 21A, 21B, 21C, 21H, 21J and 21K offer at least 3” (7cm) more legroom and are sold at a premium. Seats in row 25 are best avoided due to the proximity of the lavatories. The last two rows at the back of the cabin can also be quite busy since the main galleys are close by as well as one more lavatory. It is worth mentioning that Lufthansa allows for the purchase of an additional empty seat for more space and comfort.
