Check in rules

Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in begins 24 hours before departure and ends 60 minutes before departure. Check-in desks open three hours before departure and close 60 minutes before departure. The gate closes 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Baggage

The airline allows passengers to take one piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 10 kg and with luggage dimensions of 45 cm x 33 cm x 20 cm. Passengers are allowed 30 kg (domestic flight) and 40 kg (international flight) in business class and 20 kg (domestic flight) and 30 kg (international flight) in economy class. Any baggage exceeding the check-in baggage allowance will be charged per kg.

Unaccompanied minors

Unaccompanied Minor service is mandatory for a child age 5-11 traveling without an adult. Children ages 12-17 are not required to travel as unaccompanied minor . However, the service can be ordered.

Infants

Children under two years of age are considered infants. Therefore, infants younger than seven days old are not allowed on board. An infant must sit on an adult's lap (one infant may sit on one adult's lap). A parent or authorized person must inform the airline when traveling with an infant between 7 days old and two years old.

Thai Smile Airways does not accept live animals for transportation as checked baggage or unchecked baggage, except Escort Dogs (Seeing-Eye/Hearing Aid)
