LOT Polish Airlines (LO) seat maps

LOT Polish Airlines was founded in 1928 and is one of the oldest airlines that remains in operation. The airline's main hub is Warsaw's Chopin airport from where it serves over 100 destinations in Europe, Asia and North America. It also operates a secondary hub at Budapest, Hungary. The airline uses B787 Dreamliners for its long haul services and B737s for its medium and short haul routes. A sizable Embraer regional jet fleet is also used for its regional services.

Check in rules

Check-in can be done online (via the website or mobile app) or at the airport. Online check-in becomes available 24 hours before the scheduled departure and is closed 120 minutes before take off. Airport check-in: 2 hours before scheduled departure time at Polish airports (except Warsaw) and other mid-range airports; 3 hours before scheduled departure time for flights from the United States, Canada and other long-haul flights; 23 hours before scheduled departure time for flights departing from Warsaw to any destination.

Baggage

Each passenger is allowed one checked bags as long as each bag adheres to the below requirements: maximum dimensions - 158 cm (length + width + height) for business and economy class; maximum weight - 32 kg for business class and 23 kg for economy class. Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag (two for business class passengers). All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements: maximum dimensions of carry-on luggage 129 cm (28x35x66); maximum weight of carry-on luggage - 6 kg for economy class and 9 kg for business class.

Unaccompanied minors

Children under the age of 12 can travel unaccompanied only with a minor's accompanying service. Children over the age of 12 can travel unaccompanied or, if their parents prefer, use the service. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 16 who are traveling alone are not allowed to transport animals (either on board or in the baggage hold).

Infants

Infants are defined as children under two years of age. Infants may fly without a seat on the plane, on the lap of an accompanying adult. The discount for infants under two years of age is 90% off the standard face on international routes and 100% on domestic flights. It applies to children who sit on their guardian's lap for the entire trip. Children aged 2 to 12 years are entitled to a 25% discount off the standard fare on international routes, 40% on domestic flights, and their own seats. On selected European routes, the discount may not apply. If you wish, you can buy a seat on the plane for an infant at a children's rate.

Pets

On some flights, the airline accepts small cats and dogs in the cabin as long as the total weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 pounds (8 kg). Pets that weigh more than the weight allowed for carriage in the cabin may be carried as checked baggage in the cargo hold. For pets traveling in the cabin, carry-on dimensions may not exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm or 45 x 30 x 20 cm.
